Copilot Business via CSP: usage-based billing on by default from 1 Dec 2026
New Microsoft 365 Copilot Business licences (including standalone offers and bundles) bought through a Cloud Solution Provider from 1 December 2026 will have pay-as-you-go billing enabled by default. The date moved from 2 November 2026. Default spending limit: 4,000 Copilot Credits per user per month, adjustable by admins (0 turns it off). Adding seats via the Partner Center portal also triggers it; existing subscriptions are unaffected. The UK is in the first wave: the initial exclusions are Australia, Belgium, Brazil, France, Germany, India, Italy, Korea, the Netherlands, Poland and Spain. Microsoft's update was dated 1 Oct with new assets added 14 Oct.
Copilot can be bought without a Microsoft 365 base licence from 1 Dec 2026
New Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Business offers can be bought without a qualifying Microsoft 365 base subscription from 1 December 2026, across all channels, at the same price. Current offers gain '(add-on)' in their names from 16 October and stop being sold through partners on 1 December. Existing subscriptions can still be renewed.
Copilot Business first-year promotion runs to 31 Dec 2026
Annual Copilot Business add-on subscriptions bought by existing Microsoft 365 Business customers between 1 July and 31 December 2026 get promotional pricing for the first year only. UK partners quote £13.80 against a £16.10 list price.
ServiceNow legacy packages reach end of sale
Standard, Pro, Pro Plus, Enterprise and Enterprise Plus reached end of sale on 1 July 2026. They were replaced on 9 April 2026 by Foundation, Advanced and Prime, with Now Assist bundled in and usage metered in assists. Prices, pool sizes and assist rates are not published.
Microsoft Agent 365 generally available
Agent 365 became generally available on 1 May 2026 at $15 per user per month (US list), or £11.50 in the UK, and is included in Microsoft 365 E7.
